Pustule

A pustule is a swollen, pus-filled bump on the skin, often caused by infections or inflammation. While acne pimples are the most common type, conditions like chickenpox and psoriasis can also lead to pustule formation.

Causes of Pustules

Symptoms of Pustules

  • Pain, stinging, or burning in the affected area
  • Swelling and tenderness
  • Obstructive sensation in severe cases

Treatment for Pustules

  • Topical antibiotics (creams, lotions, gels)
  • Oral antibiotics for severe cases
